KORTRIJK, Belgium – September 22, 2021 – Cinionic, the Barco, CGS, and ALPD cinema joint venture, announces its attendance at CineEurope 2021 with an all-laser portfolio of cinema solutions and enhanced services. Cinionic brings its exhibition, Cinionic World, with live presentations of its award-winning projection technologies to the show October 4-7 in Barcelona. As the show’s exclusive projection partner, audiences will also experience the exceptional image quality Laser Projection by Cinionic delivers in every screening held in the main CCIB auditorium throughout the week.
With Cinionic World 2021, Cinionic aims to create a space to reconnect with colleagues and design the next generation of moviegoing together. Visitors in Barcelona can explore future-ready solutions with daily presentations of Barco Series 4 SP2K and Laser Light Upgrades in the purpose-built Laser Theater. Across the hallway, Cinionic’s portfolio of award-winning laser powered solutions will be on display with Cinionic colleagues available throughout the show to answer questions and provide hands-on demonstrations.
New this year, Cinionic will debut the largest member of the Barco Series 4 laser family – SP4K-55 – in a special demonstration in the main CCIB auditorium from 2:30-3pm on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Attendance is open to all registered show attendees.
“We’re committed to reconnecting with the industry as live events return, working together to shape the next chapter of moviegoing experience,” said Wim Buyens, CEO, Cinionic. “In 2014, we first introduced the promise of laser-powered entertainment destinations. Now, with over 25,000 laser solutions deployed, we offer an all-laser portfolio with a path to laser for every screen. We started Cinionic with a promise to deliver unforgettable cinema experiences, and with laser we enable more moviegoers than ever to enjoy the leading visualization on the big screen.”
With the move to all-laser, Cinionic continues its long-standing commitment to the future of exhibition with a laser solution for every screen. Theaters of any size can now offer audiences unmatched entertainment experiences with laser solutions and enhanced services, including an expanded Barco Series 4 family, Laser Light Upgrades for Series 2 projectors, vendor-financing, and the ability to sign-up for new as-a-service models like Cinionic Giant Screen (CGS) for premium experiences.
Cinionic returned to live events at CinemaCon in Las Vegas in August 2021.
