Global campaign celebrates audiences returning to theaters

Kortrijk – August 20, 2020 – Cinemas around the world are reopening and Cinionic is ready to join them when they do. For the past few months, theaters have been working hard to prepare to welcome audiences back safely. That’s why Cinionic, the Barco, ALPD, and CGS cinema joint venture, is launching the #CinemaReady campaign. The initiative celebrates the shared love for the big screen experience and provides resources on what to expect during your next trip to the movies.

As the company illuminating more than half of the world’s movie screens, Cinionic is dedicated to providing cinema experiences that amaze and delight. So, when Cinionic offered its team of movie buffs the chance to be among the first to visit their local theaters as they safely reopened, the response was overwhelmingly positive. To kick things off, Cinionic CEO, Wim Buyens, joined Barco CEO Jan de Witte for a trip to a Kinepolis theater in Belgium for a special tour by Kinepolis CEO Eddy Duquenne.

#CinemaReady is the latest in a series of initiatives from Cinionic designed to support the global exhibition community, including a free 3-month warranty extension, custom financing programs, free virtual training, and guidance to help cinemas as they begin to switch back on.
