Guy Fieri’s Kitchen & Bar and Dine-in Cinema by Reel Cinemas at Jebel Ali Recreation Club marks the first licensed dine-in cinema in the Middle East region.
In a city widely recognized for its luxury shopping, ultramodern architecture and a lively nightlife scene, the new cinema will become a beacon on the landscape, attracting guests seeking a unique entertainment experience. Internationally acclaimed chef and Food Network star Guy Fieri headlines the new eating establishment offering American “comfort food” dishes and specialty beverages. A 100-seat restaurant and bar flanks four custom-built cinema auditoriums featuring all Barco Flagship laser projectors, the brightest in the world.
“We are excited to showcase the finest movie presentation accompanied by world-renowned chef Guy Fieri’s signature menu offerings to treat our guests to the ultimate cinema dining experience. In all of our cinemas, we have set a high bar for quality cinema and amenities. The Jebel Ali cinema is one more example of our dedication to total customer satisfaction.”

Flexible use of capital makes dreams a reality
With the largest laser portfolio in the industry, Cinionic enables exhibitors to deliver premium, differentiated movie experiences in every auditorium, from giant screens to intimate art houses. Cinionic has developed flexible financial options based on an “outcome-based” model, from renting and leasing, to pay by usage to the traditional CAPEX (purchase) option. As a result, most exhibitors are able to procure the latest technologies to always show the best movie image on screen at a price they can afford.
“We have learned from our customers over the years that flexibility in acquisition is paramount to sustaining profitability while ensuring the best movie image on screen” said Serge Plasch, Chief Commercial Officer of Cinionic. “We’ve developed an easy way of working with Reel Cinemas to provide them with the highest-quality cinema solutions according to their current and future needs.” Last December, Barco announced the agreement creating the New Cinema Joint Venture, a partnership among Barco, ALPD and CGS.
