Cinionic website and cookies

When you visit our website, we collect certain information by automated means, using cookies. We may also use other technologies such as pixel tags, browser analysis tools, server logs and web beacons for similar purposes as described in this policy and we may include them on our sites, in marketing e-mail messages or our newsletter, affiliated websites etc., to determine whether messages have been opened and links clicked on. The information provided below about cookies also applies to these other technologies. The information we collect via cookies and other tools is used in a non-identifiable way without any reference to your personal information, except for the information which we collect via Salesforce Pardot to create a prospect in the system. This is first done anonymously but when you identify yourself this information is linked to the prospect in the system.

We use (mainly) third party cookies from companies such as LinkedIn, Google etc. to (i) deliver advertisements more relevant to you and your interests, (ii) to limit the number of times you see an advertisement, (iii) help measure the effectiveness of an advertisement campaign, and (iv) understand user’s behavior after having seen an advertisement.

Analytical and tracking cookies

We use (mainly) third party cookies from companies such as Google Analytics etc. to understand how users arrive on our website and how they interact with us on our website. We also use these cookies to understand how our media campaigns work. This information is used to evaluate and improve the content of our website and our campaigns and ultimately to improve user experience.

Functional cookies

We use functional cookies from Instapage, Outgrow, and Geotargetly to allow a site to remember choices you make (such as your language preference) and provide more enhanced, personal features. These cookies cannot track your browsing activity on other websites and they do not gather any information about you that could be used for advertising or remembering where you’ve been on the Internet outside our sites.

Performance cookies

These cookies collect information about your visit and use of our website, for instance which pages you visit the most often, and if you get error messages from web pages. These cookies do not collect information that identifies a user. All information these cookies collect is anonymous and is only used to improve how our website work.   • Salesforce Pardot

We use Salesforce Pardot to manage registrations and form submissions on our website, to collect and store consent and to send consent-based email communications.   • Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to analyze the performance of our website and follow up on the effectiveness of our marketing efforts. Google Analytics allow us to analyze data in aggregate, we do not collect or store any personal information in Google Analytics. We would like to point out that our website uses Google Analytics with the extension ‘_anonymizelp()’ and, consequently, IP addresses are only used in shortened form in order to prevent direct personal references.   • Hotjar 
    We use the web analysis service of Hotjar (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.). Hotjar uses cookies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices (in particular device’s IP address (captured and stored only in anonymized form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), preferred language used to display our website). Hotjar stores this information in a pseudonymized user profile.   • Instapage

We use Instapage to create landing pages for our marketing campaigns. We gather functional cookies from visitors on these dedicated web pages. Read Instapage’s privacy policy here.

  • Outgrow

We use Outgrow to create interactive content like quizzes, surveys, calculators etc. The Outgrow platform uses functional cookies to ensure the forms and quizzes work correctly for users. If you fill in a form or survey via the Outgrow platform, we collect and store the data you filled in.   • Geotargetly

Geotargetly uses cookies to collect information about your precise or approximate location as determined through data such as your IP address or mobile device. We use Geotargetly to show targeted content on our website, based on your geolocation. Read Geotargetly’s privacy policy here.

  • Albacross
    We use Albacross to identify web visitors via cookies. By using the Albacross platform, Albacross may gather your IP address, cookie information (including advertising IDs and associated information), time stamps (time page accessed as well as time spent per web page), and clickstream information (for example, which websites and web pages you viewed and for how long). The gathered information will be associated to the IP address not to an individual. Information we collect via web beacons is associated with the existing Albacross cookie already placed on your computer.

We use a number of services, listed below, for advertising based on your web activity, or remarketing:

  • Google AdWords

We use Google AdWords, which enable us to advertise our website in Google search results, as well as on third-party websites.   • Facebook Pixel

We use the “Facebook pixel” from Facebook. This allows user behavior to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider’s website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This enables us to measure the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected in this way is anonymous to us. We use pixel data to make sure ads are being shown to the right people and build advertising audiences.   • LinkedIn Ads

We use the LinkedIn Ads cookie to track the success of LinkedIn advertising.
